Let’s Get Uncomfy!
A word from Founder #1
“It all began with a guy sobering up in a shack in North Georgia. The times were tough, the vibes were worse and the only thing keeping him sane was a foster Pitbull named Hambone, hiking and running. It was a weird version of detox but it worked. Now adays, people, hike, bike and climb with him, not for the same reason but who cares & now we have a structured group of awesome folks running this company so you check us out!”

Event Two
That dastardly Turkey from the Turkey Trot 4 Kiwanis, Splintz, has been training, scheming, plotting and we heard he is dabbling in PED’s!
So we here at FWC have made a plan to defeat him, by training and plotting as well, and hopefully not needing to scheme at all.
Starts in The Hub’s parking lot, this will also be the full 5k, the exact route used in the Turkey Trot so you can learn all the fast lines through the park
Event Three
Our first group hike! Meeting at the bottom at 6:30am and leaving when we are ready. No pressure as this is our first hike, friendly dogs welcome, and yes we will be going to the top!
Event One
Welcome to the FWC Public Calendar. Our very first group run! It's also being led by one (maybe 2) of the founders of this fun, well intentioned to sweat, club of athletic misfits and exercise noobs alike. FWC wants everyone to find their pace, their crew, their happiness and maybe sweat a lil. We are doing two miles for this one. Chill pace and stopping at a chill place, BSG Cafe in downtown Cornelia. This run will start at The Hub's parking lot, (located at Commercial Executive Suites) and do one lap through the race course for Turkey Trot 4 Kiwanis so you can start to learn the fast lines. See you there and let us know if you need any accommodations or need information.
