The Hinton Center Rural Life Center will be awarding the 1st place winners of the Pickleball tournament with 2 Free Nights in their Hermitage Cabins for a relaxing get away in the mountains of Western Carolina! With 2nd and 3rd place prizes worth hundreds of dollars in gift cards and gift baskets.
Our Cafe Pop-Up will be on site selling hot and cold brew coffee with a specialty beverage or two.
A special meal will be available at the BSG Pop-up Cafe, prepared by the amazing crew at Epic Eatery and Catering. The Chicken Dill-ux Bagel; A dill brine marinated chicken breast with pickled tomatoes and jalapeno cream cheese spread on an everything bagel!
The Freedom Boat Club Cornhole Tournament for the non pickleball player in your group with prizes for the top 3 teams with 1st place wining a one day boat rental, a $600 value!
A Hole In One Disc Golf competition will be available till it’s won, prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd person to jingle chains with each of the winners winning hundreds of dollars in gift cards and unique prizes.
Live music performance by Hiawassee’s own, Wyatt Espalin https://wyattespalinmusic.com/ will be from 2:30 - 3:00 leading us into our award ceremony to hand out prizes and our custom made trophies!

Homemade Black Coffee Class W/ Zach Staggs
Join BSG Café’s chief barista, Zach Staggs, as he shows you the different methods to brew; Pour Over, French Press & Drip with a easy to understand class with fun facts and a few jokes sprinkled in to make the class as fun as it is informational.
Full breakdown as how to grind your beans fresh for each method with pointers on adding/reducing flavor profiles between fine and coarsely ground
An explanation of where BSG’s coffee beans are grown and what makes them taste the way they do.
Each participant will get to sample all the coffees they want and get hands on experience on cupping and grinding their own beans as well as a $5 gift card for BSG Café!
We want to help people explore the world of coffee and hopefully pinpoint a better way to brew that you may have not tried yet!

Coffee Class with Zach Staggs
Come join BSG’s chief coffee guru, Zach Staggs, as he shows you how to grind, brew, pour and pair coffees produced by BSG. From the difference tastes certain grinding produce to how each machine draws a different aspect of each coffee, we will go over all the different roasts and the countries they come from and why certain farms produce the best beans. We will use a pour over, a french press and the good ole fashion drip coffee maker.
Each participant will receive a $5 gift card for BSG Café in Hayesville or to be used online on our dot com store.

Black Stag and Taco Mexico have something HOT coming your way. Kelly’s Salsa, the brainchild of Taco Mexico, has made two spicy batches of salsa for Black Stag. Avocado Heat and Jalapeno Verde are all natural sauces that go great on taco and wings, can be used as a marinade and of course for dipping in Ani’s empanadas.
